Great Weekend boat trip except -

I noticed after pulling the boat out of the water the anode was missing. I had just replaced the water impellar for the first time (Thanks to all the info from this site) and was happy not to have any over heating issues! I plan on replacing the anode but I was curious if I should have used a thread lock??

You can if you want, however I've never known it to be necessary.I would just use "blue" though so if you ever need to change it.

Ayuh,... Just Snug it alittle Tighter.... about 25/ 30ft.lbs...
