just bought 91 u seires want to put aluminum sub floor in using aluminum angle should i put down like a underlayment between aluminum boat and frame there is no ribs to attatch bottom of frame to so was just going to let bottom float help

Got 1971 Gregor 13' aluminum fishing boat v hull would like to install floor can't figure out how to do in bow seat to 2nd seat on account of v I would like to keep little depth up there.

Have you tried using cardboard to try and figure out what will work and what it will look like. It's much cheaper to make mistakes with.

If you have seats that go all the way across then suspend your floor from those seats. When I have added floors to small tinney skiffs, I created a 90 degree angle from aluminum and attached it to the seat side letting it hang down to where I wanted the floor. Then used 5/8" 5 ply plywood for the floor. Worked great, no uneven surfaces to deal with. Also cut a hole and added hatch doors to get under the floor for storage, especially my anchor in that front section with the V.....just some food for thought !
