Would anyone have a ballpark idea of the gross weight of a 1985 Cajun 17.5ft bassboat with a 150hp Mariner on the back? I'm trying to come up with a good prop selection for my new altitude.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might try NADA: About 1000 Lbs without the motor(Dry) Another 400 or so pounds for the motor..

nadaguides.com/Values/ValueModel.asp?UserID=550A2036BD7D2&DID=38853&Type=MR&GCode=MR&wSec=4&wPg=1105&Com=0249&Year=1985&Letter=C

www.nadaguides.com will have the net weight of the hull and the motor...add rigging, fuel, people & gear. I always admired those Cajun boats, one of these days I'm gonna get me one.

I never thought of looking in the NADA book. Great idea. Thanks, that's a big help.
