Have a disc that appears to be brass or bronze, its about 2 inches round. Had a brass looking screw that goes through transom to hold disc to underwater line on back of transom. Was used for ground(correctly???) I could not save the bolt and now need 1 bolt. Unfortunately I can't find one... so I have to order, but is there a difference-- I can find bronze silicon, but not brass. Or can I use SS- thats easy to find in the country.

Thanks, Jeff

Sounds like a grounding plate. I believe that they are made of silicon-bronze, which is what you should use for the bolt.
