Grumman 21'

Does anyone own or have personal experience with a 21' Grumman (riveted aluminum) deep V O/B boat? I'm looking at one.....open with walk-thru, very high freeboard. Seems very safe for my purposes (solo salmon fishing on Great Lakes). Boat was built in Sea Nymph plant (Indiana) who licensed the Grumman name. It has no leaks at present. Any feedback from someone who has owned one of these or has first-hand knowledge will be helpful.

I picke up an 87 sea nymph striper 191 cc 19 foot this past summer and I love it. Lightweight and like you said, high walls. I have had it about 15 or 16 miles offshore on a calm day with no problems. Not the exact same boat but hope it helps. Good Luck

Is your striper riveted or welded?
