i have a grumman War-Mac uf 184 s that i am trying to get back on the water. It needs a new floor and that wiring needs to b managed and connected properly. I dont have any experience with boats so its all new to me. Does anyone have any references, books, experience, or links with this. I have no clue where to start or what does what and what goes where. Thanks

Re: grumman War-Mac uf 184 s restoration

Welcome to iboats and to the dry dock as it's known! This site is the best reference out there for information. My suggestion for information is by searching for topics of things you need to get done. You may not find your exact boat but there are many threads that describe how to replace floors, foam, wiring, engine work, you name it. Use this site to do your studying and u'll be up and goin in no time. I myself knew nothing before finding this site. The people here are very helpful and knowledgeable. If the topic has been beat to death then you'll get the response of search for the topic. If the floor is shot, the transom (place where motor mounts) prob is too. Your setup if fairly close to the starcrafts and sea nymphs, I'd start in that direction
