GS170 and a bent ski tow bar

I have a Hurricane GS170. This is the second time my ski tow bar bent - not happy. The first time the knee board dove deep - probably my fault. This time it just bent pulling my adult 230 lb. son. Is there an alternative to the single bar that came with the boat? How about a tripod type? If yes, how is it mounted?

Thanks.

I'd use a fixed rear towpoint or bridal instead. Shouldn't really be using a ski bar for kneeboarding.

I'm surprised you'd say that... I would think a kneeboard would do fine on a pylon. I had the understanding that towing a tube or anything tied to the boat you should use the stern hooks and a harness, but that anything like skis, wakeboard, kneeboard, etc. where you are holding the rope it was fine to use a pylon or tower. Surely the rope force on a kneeboard doesn't exceed that of a slalom skier who is cutting hard?
