GT150 recirc valve system

Does anyone know where to get the small <br />(1/16 ID ?) recirculation valve system hose for an '89 GT150? What types of problems can be experienced when the recirc system stops up?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Duck Loads

Duck.... If the recirculating system clogs, a portion of the engine will run rich while the other portion runs lean.<br /><br />If a valve fails in the open position, a stalemate takes place whereas any number of fuel problems can take place.<br /><br />You should be able to order the hose in any given length from your local OMC dealership from the 25' roll, part number 327229. It may also be available from NAPA.
