guardian mode question..

once a opti goes into guardian mode do you have to clear the code after fixing the problem???or should it just take care of itself...

If your engine went into guardian mode and you shut it down and corrected the problem, it will restart and run normally. The code will remain stored in the EMM until someone attaches a DDT or CDS and clears the code.
