As someof you recall the 40th Anniversary "Great Race" occured July 23rd up in Nanaimo BC.
Just got this picture from a fellow racer yesterday at another race.

It's not ME that looks rough, check out the big boat behind me - and that's INSIDE the harbor!

We had 35 mph gusts, passed small craft advisories in the morning and moved up to gale force warnings I guess........scary but fun!

Interesting kinda racer you have there ... tell me more about it, what hp you have on there etc ....

deejaycee 2000 is a bathtub race and it goes from Nanaimo on Vancover island to Vancover on the mainland.Thay have this race every year.Not shure on the details but its a verry popular race.
ps thay are in bathtubs no kidding
