half closed vs full closed cooling..

I've recently upgrade my boat to closed cooling (aluminum heads, intake, etc... want to run in brackish without issue). I bought and modified a big block set-up so I'd be sure to have enough capacity for my engine. It works great with the manifolds cooled by raw water. Does anyone have a good feel for how much more heat I'll have to remove to include the exhaust manifolds? I intend to set it up for full closed cooling to protect the aluminum aftermarket exhaust manifolds, but did half first becaus I had everything required for the plumbing, etc... I'm thinking I'll add a belt driven raw water pump the same time I go from half to full and that should take care of it, but would hate to go through the whole exercise only to find out that it isn't going to work.

Thanks.

The Alpha I pumps (pre GenII Alphas) have only about half the volume output of the Bravo type engine mounted pumps. With a BB engine and full closed cooling, the Alpha drive pump would never cool it enough.
