Re: half power

I just rebuild my lower unit. only couple issues i came accross was first make sure you have a puller and evenly pull out the Barring Carrier. Second was removing the Drive shaft, i scratched my head for a while till i figures out to take the nut off the Pinion Gear and to use a 2X4 and a vice and lightly hit the 2X4 against the housing to get the Drive shaft to seperate from the Pinion gear.

Over all the job went preatty smooth. Make sure you watch how things come out i got a peice i still reseaching how it goes back in but its gets put in when you reasembly the lower unit to the engine.

Have fun was a great learning experiance.

I plan on taking a lot of pics. document it & post it, for all to refer to.
