I have a johnson 9.5 2cyl. side carb appox.1965 I replaced all electric coil plugs pointsetc<br />also neww tank hose and fittings Starts in one pull low speed is great over half it takes right off<br />but it soon slows down then speeds up down etc. could this be carb float adjustment I also noticed that<br />the needle seat sticks Sure could use some help

Sounds like you have it pegged. You know it is sticking. Get a carb kit and replace it. Set your float so it is level when you turn the carb upside down.
