Handheld VHF with GPS

I've got an on board VHF radio that does not have GPS.

I have a handheld VHF w/o GPS.

I'm thinking of buying a handheld VHF which has GPS.

This would be for the bailout bag.

What are the advantages to having GPS in a handheld?

I've got a PLB but am not opposed to having a back up.

I think the biggest advantage would be if the boat sank then you would be able to transmitt your location, I would get one that has the DSC function.
