These are when she hit the yard a few days back. It will get a bottom cleaning, engine tune up and wax job before I have her put in and moved to the marina we'll be keeping her at.
Odly enough didn't go to buy a boat but a prop..guess the prop issue is fixed now.
Looks like a great purchase! I just love cabin cruisers...something about the "RV on the water" thing that just intrigues me. What is the beam on that girl, 10 feet? Are you planning on installing A/C? A genset would surely make offshore overnight anchorages more pleasant. Congrats and enjoy!

Merry CHRISTMAS! That is an AWESOME Christmas present to you and the family! Yes, a genset is a must for the add-ons. And I am sure you will be able to think of lots more "gotta haves" as you work to clean and polish her up ... from fenders and mooring lines and anchors to elcetronics to cabin aids to ... the list will continue on ... you can NEVER have enough toys and accessories for you boat, and iboats is just the place to start stocking up! Happy after Christmas shopping!
WOW, went for a prop and came home with a boat, hopefully you have a really good job or you don't go shopping much.
Very nice, I named my second boat the same as my first with no ill side effects, just be sure to go through all the required ceramonies and you will be fine.

As for the name, they say it's bad luck to change it, but if you're not superstitious, why not? How about Bofus II? Or if you are keeping Bofus, call this one Focus to have the complete punch line.
Or since there appear to be four of you, why not Forvus?
