Going to MIL as usual and watching the game, at least the start of it.

I made a soup as my side this year. I try to bring something that this family would not normally eat or at a minimum not consider as a Thanksgiving side. Wife talked me out of doing smoked oyster dressing so...canneloni beans, great northern, Italian sausage, spinach, red pepper flakes, chicken stock (just made a fantastic batch last week) etc. Calls for heavy cream mixed in at the end but on the test run I dolloped in plain Greek yogurt which I think is better than the cream, I like the bite of it over the tongue coat the cream would bring.

Yall root for the chiefs not the girls and be well.

We had a good one … missing a few for various reasons… only 12 around the table. Turkey came out perfectly. Now on to deer rifle season and then Christmas.
