Harbor Freight Trailer Recall

A heads up to any and all.

I was looking for a replacement axle for my utility trailer, different thread. I called HF, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. When someone finally picked up, they stated they have no axles available and there is a recall on their trailers. No other details

If you have one you may want to do some research and/or make some phone calls.

Can you tell me WHAT model of trailer is being recalled? They make like 4-6 different models.

since H-F gets their stuff from China, its probably all their trailers are recalled.

Well no problems here with the 2 harbor freight trailers I have, one carry's my ATV around and has over 20,000 miles on it, so I guess I got lucky, sorry that some did not.

I have one of the 4x8 folding trailers and have built several more for friends. Most recent was 2 months ago. These are and have been fantastic trailers. I cannot find any recall info on thier website or the DOT. If anyone finds more info let us know.
