I have a 30HP 1994 Evinrude outboard and it seems that everytime I take her out she starts fine and I can troll around and fish. The minute I decide to anchor and fish for awhile and attempt to continue on, she doesn't want to start. The only way I can get her to start is to disconnect the fuel hose and start her up that way (realizing its flooded). Why is that?
<br />The second part of my question is that recently I opened her up all the way and I can't go to full throttle.. only half is what I can manage. I've changed the spark plugs, cleaned the fuel filter and I just recently replaced with new fuel. Can anyone help?
