Hello
Maybe someone can help I have a 1991 6hp outboard serial # 081277 {that all I can read} it is hard to start after it has sat for a few hours maybe 5 or more or the next day. Once it starts it will start with one pull most of the day,and rust great , but its hard in the morning to get it going 10 pulls or so.
The carburetor is the one you pull out the choke and turn right to start fast idle, Looking at the carb when I pull out the choke the lever on the side hits a shaft to, I guess send a shot of fuel into the carb sometimes I see a little gas spray out the side there is a little hole there. Is there something that is common with these carbs that fails what ever happened to just pull to choke . Any ideas thanks Rusty
