Folks,

Just got back from the lake for the second sea trial. Finsihed the first two hour break in. Noticed that steering left while on plane is a little stiff, steering right no problem.

The boat has a baystar hydraulic steering unit, max rated to 150. I understand the torque thing, I guess I expected smoother and equal in both directions.

I believe the tab is adjusted correctly, because the boat doesn't pull either way on plane.

Any thoughts?

tashasdaddy,

Thanks will give it a try, intend on third hour of break in tomorrow, will adjust the tab and see what happens. Book says I can run at 3/4 throttle (4000 RPM) for the next hour, then for remaining 7 hours can run at any speed, but only 5 minutes max at WOT.

Peace.
