hard time geting original outboard manual

can some help me get a manual for a J200STLCEB<br />1989 johnson outboard,also can someone tell me if a johnson runs with 5 valves, broken valve on this outboard motor, I will try it with 5v

493jcaleman.... Five (5) Valves?? If you're saying that one of your leaf valves has a broken leaf, then no, it will not run properly.<br /><br />The leaf valves must all be there and seat properly. If one is broken, missing, whatever, when the piston is on its down stroke, the crankcase pressure will blow straight out the carburetor throat backwards, forcing fuel & vapors to spray on the outside of the powerhead area. One spark in that area and the engine is history.<br /><br />Pertaining to a specific manual, if you can't locate it here, contact Andrew at www.MarineEngine.com and list the model number of your engine.
