Hi all, I am refurbishing my old 1975 Vanson trailer. But I am having a very hard time finding replacement bearings.
The number on the bearing is L60140. Does anyone know where to get this?

I would hate to get a new axle and hubs just because I cannot find a bearing.

Please help.......

Re: Hard to find bearings

I was able to get the bearings from my auto parts store, however the hubs are verry hard to find. I went to about 25 boat dealers before I found new old stock for those large straight axles.

Re: Hard to find bearings

It occurred to me that if you are in a hurry to replace the wheel bearing, you might just remove the inner and outer and take them to a NAPA store and have them match them up. You are only concerned about the OD and the ID. The width can be a little wider without having a problem, just don't go narrower. If you have a 3500# axle, the chances are good that a NAPA store will have what you need. You could also try an industrial bearing supply house.
