Close encounter of the third kind with a bit of shrubbery on an icy road this morning. The fender will have to be replaced. Is it a simple bolt on, or would I be better off taking it to the body and fender man?

It has 85k on it so I'm not looking for concours d'elegance work here!

Thanks

Jinx

Prompt reply, much appreciated. Pretty handy here, but weather just isn't going to cooperate.

I know this doesn't mean much where your from, but it's 12 degrees here now, and I'll be shaking like a dog passing peach seeds working out in the shed.

Jinx

I would wait until winter is over, then fix it. It would not be cool for you to go through the hassle just to slide into something again. On our plow rig, we do not repair anything until the snow is gone. So far I have taken out a large gate, a few tree drags down the side, and a boat trailer. Once you get slidin' down a hill, you just relax and wait for it to end :D ....

Unfortunately, the Jeep is up for inspection in February and the turn signal is wiped clean.

Thanks for your thoughts, though.

13 degrees and snow...I believe Rapid City SD is warmer than here!

Jinx
