Has anyone heard of this make of boat?

I have a 1976 Bayon SR16. It is a 16 foot with a very shallow "V" hull. I am told this boat was originally purchased in the US. I live in Canada and have never seen another boat of this make. A plate inside the boat states it was manufactured in Wisconsin. Anyone know anything about this boat manufacturer. PS - its a great boat - fast and stable.

According to NADAguides.com, they are aout of production and ran from 1971-1983. I don't have any info on them tough.

Bayon Custom Boats went out of business in 1994. That company was based in California. The June 7, 2004 edition of the Sacramento Bee listed two Bayon boats for sale; see the below link:<br /><br /> http://www.sacbee.com/06-07-2004/classads/transportation/boats_and_motors/ <br /><br />Maybe the owners of the boats listed can tell you more about them.
