Has anyone used Hydrofoil on Pontoon Boat?

I have a 2007 Sweetwater 17' Pontoon Boat w/ a 2006 Yamaha 50hp 2 Stroke.

Now i know Pontoons dont plane out well but mine raises in the front. I had my toons checked for water and there are no leaks.

Has anyone used a Hydrofoil that mounts on the outboard and do they help. Also will the slow the boat down?

I have used one, I got better response without one, It actually slowed mine down Pontoons have enough drag anyway. I would try distributing a little weight to the front.

Change the trim angle of the motor ...
