has anyone used seacast pourable transom

just wondering has any one used seacast pourable transom . how does it work. it look easy .they say its strong?

Check out Archbuilders thread, Micks110. They both used Seacast fot transom and stringers.

I used it on my 17' Tuffy fishing boat. It's not cheap, but then again, it will NEVER rot out again. Process was fairly simple. Get rid of all the transom wood, and pour the seacast in the hole.

Yeah, it's strong. I'd say stronger than wood, and lighter to boot.

What kind of boat are you thinking of using it on? It's not for everyone, but can be an easy solution to a big problem.

over the 3 years that i have been here.....it has been used with good results.

however .....the 30 year jury is still out for deliberation.
