appleo, there was a guy on here that made a mold and manufactured his our fiberglass hatches. They looked amazing and like some factory built ones. But I haven't see any more of his project lately and I can't remember his thread either. But his work was amazing to see. Maybe someone else can remember the thread and post it. JMHO!

Where do you want to use the hatches? Deck or side panels or whatever? Replacing existing covers or adding hatches?

I'm a big fan of Starboard, but only if fabricated correctly. ie, finished edges and corners rounded over, dadoed to fit flush etc.

I am in the process of adding a ski locker to my boat , I have been searching all over for one of the correct size but cant find it.

therefore I am going to be making my own , using aluminum Z bar and will fill it with teak or starboard.

my buddy is a metal fabricator and will be doign the welding, rounding, ect of the aluminum . I will throw some pics on here when we are done. it will be roughly 2 x 3'
