Hate to start this but, which oil for 98 EFI 225...opinions?

Like I said...I hate to start this....It'll probalby turn ugly...lol
This is my first 2 stroke motor and I'd like your opinions....
1998 Mariner EFI 225, what do you recommend for oil?

Many people suggest using the same brand oil as the outboard. I've tried them all from West Marine to Quick Silver etc. I am now spending roughly twice as much as the synthetic blend West Marine by using the Penzoil Full Synthetic. I am not sure if I'm smoking way less because of the Star-Tron fuel additive or the synthetic oil. What ever the case I'm going to stick with both of them! Frankly I think the Star-Tron is doing the trick, and the synthetic oil is a plus! I cannot believe how much my smoking has been reduced!

What is Star-Tron?
Can the Penzoil synthetic be added to the oil tank with Quick Silver already in it?
