My boat is out of the water for the winter and the battery is at my house.

I connected a lightbulb to it to allow me to see in a dark corner of my cellar but forgot to disconnect the bulb and it flattened the battery (bulb filament was just glowing a dull orange).

Simce then Ive charged the battery a couple of times and it seems to hold its charge.

I measured it today and the voltage is 12,5 volts 3 weeks after charging and if I put the battery on charge after about 4 weeks of it sitting doing nothing, the charging currens starts at around 3 amps and drops to under 2.

Its probably fine, but I wouldn't make a habit of it though, most batteries dislike being drained completely

Charge it up and take it to any auto store where they will test it free of charge. Make sure it's fully charged. No sense attempting to test a dead/partially discharged battery.
