Of course the screws on the distributor cap are rusted to hell......

question, could the module inside the distributor be the cause of this problem or is it more likely its the distributor itself?

So ready to buy a mallory ignition system.

If you have spark from the coil, the ignition system is working, if it's not getting to the spark plugs, it's the cap, or rotors problem. Not the distributor itself.

K, just wasn't sure of the purpose of the module inside the cap....I'll pick up a new cap and try that.
