I have a 21' deck boat I'm having shipped from Texas to Utah. It has been in a slip since I got it so the trailer has not been used much. I'm in Utah so this is secondhand but the tires and bearings, etc. are reportedly in good shape. The guy towing it for me said he has a grease gun and will grease them as needed as well.
Had my buddy lock everything inside down as much as possible (duct tape, secure stuff in compartments, etc).
Anything else I should be thinking of? 1400 miles is a long way. Also, should I be concerned about the gelcoat and is there anything I can do to protect it?
The boat is a 2003 Four Winns Funship 214 if that matters.
Thanks.
