I have a 17ft starcraft with a 125hp mariner 1996. When you shut off the engine the tach says a 2k and it says at idle 2k but moves when you rev it. I checked the pulse dial on the back and it was on 3c and doesn't change when changed to 4c. When running the boat it will move but just seems to be 1k to high. Is the tach bad or am I missing something else?
