Hawk 200 Center Console

Hello, can anyone tell me who makes this boat... it's a 2002 and it says Hawk 200 on the side... it's for sale but I wanted to google it and research before I talk to the seller... any help would be appreciated.

No.. I've found pics of those online and it looks nothing like it.. it clearly has Hawk 200 on it... and that's it...
I will add a pic if I can. phone pic so not so good.

Just found a pic of a "C" Hawk 200 Center Console and it looks rather similar....

Looks like a C hawk. their reputation is a good mid-level boat (like most of the "sea" boats). I don't know if they are still in business but that doesn't matter for a used boat more than a few years old.

Hey all... I found out this boat is a C-Hawk 200 20' Center Console.
I am uploading a couple of pics of some nicks in the hull... I am not sure what is considered bad or fixable... there are 3 nicks 2 about the size of a finger nail... and the third a little bigger... I am wondering if they can be maybe just filled with epoxy or something with no worries of water problems later...

As long as there is no delamination, a gelcoat repair kit will do the job just fine.

I'm sorry... Can you explain what "Delamination" is or how I can spot it... does it look like there is on those pics? Thanks....

Delamination is when the layers making up the hull separate from each other. This can happen from water intrusion over a period of time (or if water gets in and freezes). If these nicks are above the waterline there should be no problems.

Nah.. there at the bottom of the boat... so they will be in the water... they look and feel pretty tight... like not flaking or anything... no spidering from the nick...

Does anyone have a picture of what this looks like? I have posted pictures if anyone wants to look and tell me if they see evidence of it... I really like this boat and this is the only thing holding me back from buying it...

I am just looking for reassurance that these nicks can be filled with epoxy and that there is no signs of delamination....

I wouldn't worry about the nicks; patch them with epoxy. If you trailer the boat, keep an eye on them. If you plan to moor it all the time, be sure to do it right--lots of prep work.

i think the guy who said don't buy it was trying to make a joke, that he was going to go by and buy it himself. Not sure why he said that.

I do plan on trailoring and will keep an eye on it....
I will now research the patching process and what epoxy to use...
