That will work fine I have actually used that before. You won't get the pop outt the water or on jumps, but it will definitely do the job.

May not work that well for the tube, more so due to the 100hp engine.

i like the i boats one john.....it folds down and stores in the ski locker when you are fishing.

i just cant see the dimentions or the wall thickness.......
but iboats is really really good.......get them on the phone and they will rattle the info off to ya in a sec or get the manufacturer to call you in 3 mins flat.......

it will do you till the gang grows up another 2 feet......

cheers buddy

i find one problem with both of them. have you ever had a ski rope break when towing a skier? these, as well as towers, put the rope at a dangerous height, for passengers, when the rope breaks there is usually a whip lash effect, that can seriously injure a passenger. voice of experience.

Generally speaking, the higher the rope the better. I would say moreso for tubing than skiing to keep the line out of the water especially with kids. Initially kids need to learn how to balance their weight on a tube so they don't submarine. This will help.
TD brings up an interesting point although I've never seen it happen personally. I inspect and replace my ropes frequently (maybe every 3-5 years). $8 for a new tow rope is nothing.

Great Lakes Skipper is awesome. The staff is very helpful. I purchased my wakeboard tower from them. It was new surplus that they wholesale. They have an assortment of new towers from various boat manufactures. If you bring your boat in they would assist you matching a tower. They auction them on ebay. Here is a pic after install. My 7 yr old loves to kneeboard off it, and my 5 yr old also started last summer. Now, my wife, still cant get up on the wakeboard..............
