I posted a couple of comments regarding my boat that sunk while tied to my dock. I would like to point out lessons learned.
1. Check the bilge pump hose -thru hull outlet connection. If the hose comes off the water don't leave.
2. Always continuously check a boat when it is put in the water for the first time after alot of work. Passing out because of the long days of alot of work is not an option.
3. A boat will never un-sink itself while you are laying on the couch, head covered, contemplating suicide.
4. If you live on the water, all of your neighbors see your boating mistakes.
5. Never underestimate the importance of a good friend with air tanks and a floating dock.
6. The clock starts running when the engine breaks the water line, pickle the motor and do it fast!
7. Salt water is evil.
8. Electrolisis is eviler.
9. It feels good when she runs again
10. Check the bilge pump hose -thru hull outlet connection. If the hose comes off the water don't leave.
