So I bought a new motor for my boat. It’s a 90hp Evinrude 1997. Took her out on the water today. Fired right up, idled out of the marina and all of a sudden the no oil light came on the tach. I turned off the motor, waited a few min and when I went to start it it wouldn't start. Now it won't start at all. Took the cover off and gas was squirting out from the red primer selenoid valve lever. So I ordered one of those and hopefully she fired up again, what about the oil light and alarm though. Does it have anything to do with that leak from the lever or what could it be. The guy said it hasn’t happened before and it ran good on the driveway and on the ride out of the marina. Any ideas?
