WOW!!!!!! 10 inches so far in some parts. These folks are getting some rain. Sure wish it was spread out over a couple of days so it would help more.

It will help the lake levels in a hurry, and they were getting low around there.

I agree with the lake levels, thats where it'll help the most. I would like to see a slow steady rain that soaks in real good. A little fast rain wouldn't hurt either, it'll clean my creek out and refill it.

Lake Lavon fishing site says 6 to 8" and incoming creeks running bank full for 2 days, lake is up about a foot.

We are getting rain now :D Were still needing 6 more inches just to get us out of the drought. and who knows how much longer till end of fire ban. I hope it stays like this all night<br />serenity

won't do anything for Livingston (the lake the Trinity River feeds into) as the damn is not repaired yet. We needed this rain after July when the damn is scheduled to be completed.

My yard is so spongy, you have to step carefully so as not to sink. That is a nice change from rock hard clay.
