Hello,
I am looking for information about a '85 Glastron. It is a V-216 O/B model. I have problems with the handling and propping of the boat. I searched the forum model# and found nothing. The boat is very bow high at speed, and is very "squirrelly" handling, especially in a following sea. And worse with the bait tank full. Is there any foam below deck that can water log?
I have tried moving the engine up and down in every height hole and and tested a dozen different props. That has only made the problem worse. Maybe someone here and recommend the best settings. Or where to find this info. The engine is a 200HP 2-stroke.
The prop RPM is also low. 4800 RPM right now. It could just be down a cylinder but I have not checked yet.
