Help! 125hp Force issue

Hi everyone, i have a problem with my 125hp Force,, any help will be highly appreciate it, for some reason the wheel that turns the flywheel(sorry dont know the name) is not lifting and engaging the flywheel, it turns but is not in place. It was working fine and for some reason stopped and the wheel is just turning. What can i do to fix this problem? Seems like a mechanical problem instead of a electrical issue. Please advices from the experts here.

If it were me i would try to lubrcate it and if that didint work take it off and take it to someone that repairs starters

Centrifucal (sp) force throws the gear up. Needs cleaning or lubricant to free it. WD40 freed mine.

Grease. And if that doesn't work you've got a weak battery or a starter going out.

Or the shaft nut is loose.
