HELP 18hp Fuel Pump

I have recently got a fuel pump kit for my 1971 18hp Evinrude. Problem is, everytime i put it back together and on the engine, fuel squirts out of two little holes in the fuel pump. I dont think im putting all back together correctly and i cant seem to find an in depth diagram to show exactly how it goes together. I need some help if anyone has done this before or a diagram would be great.

I put the fuel pump back together like the above diagram says, and it is still squirting fuel out the drain.
