Help 1962 100hp merc need a manual and

Hi all, I just got a 1962 100 hp merc, I need a repair manual for it , I can find a 1964 and newer seloc manual but nothing for a 62 ??? and also I took the lower foot off and changed the Impeller and stuck it back together and now it not shifting right , got no reverce ?? taked to the guy i got it from and he said need to index it back , took it apart again abd still didnt get it , so can any one help ?? I did take her out and MAN SHE RAN !!!! It is on a 15.6 tri-hull glastron and loven every second of it !!!!!! thanks all John

I have the best luck installing the units with every thing in rev gear forward and neutral will slip by the detent on older unit real easily. Don't waste your money on any manual other than OEM most of the rest are good toilet paper and thats about all there good for CK ebay as a manual can be expensive

Well it didnt work now it is pushing up the shifter, it pushed off the locking lever, took it off twice and it wasnt up then but it was when we took it out ? it still wasnt shifting ?? dont really want to take it in but it looks like i am going to have too!!!! Unless i some one has a Idea ?? thanks John
