Hello:

I am in need of the wiring diagram for a 1977 70hp PT&T. I just found one to fit my engine, but only came with a few wires..... I am thinking I also need a solenoid or relay box ?? Can someone please help.

Thanks......

They came with a single solenoid for raising the motor. Lowering was done through the switch. Click the thumbnail.

North of 60 - if it's a 2 wire unit use the search feature in this forum and look for "polarity reversing soleniod".

I bought a 2 wire t&t unit for mine awhile back and it was a lot cheaper and the wiring much simpler to get an aftermarket solenoid to use. Ezeke was kind enough to give me that info back then. I wound up buying a soleniod from an RV place online. It was originally to extend/retract a slider in an RV but has worked like a champ for my t&t for the last two years on my boat.\

Here's a link to that thread.
