I have a 1979 115 HP Johnson motor. Out of nowhere the motor has gone from working just fine to now after the Fast Idle lever is put down to a regular idle position, the motor dies. When I try to shift intp gear quick, no difference. It will start if the fast start and fast idle lever is all the way up but just does when it's put all the way down, doesn't sit in idle at all or for very long. Every once in a while I'm able to get it into gear but dies immediately.
it seems like a gas issue, but I can see the gas flowing in the carburetor.
Over checked the ball, battery is good, engine float is good, I've put seafoam into the gas tank. Nothing I do will change the outcome. Please help.
