Hi i am watching a prop on ebay that is ending soon. I really need a new one and i havent received my manual yet so i cannot figure out one thing. How many splines my prop presently has. I am at work with no way to check it before bdding is over. Its a 9x9 with 8 splines on ebay. I know i have 9x9 no but not sure baout splines. The motor is a 1988 15 hp merc. Ser # 0B339198. If anyone knows it would be really great cause i dont want to buy her without seeing how many splines i need..

merc book shows a 9x9, but no spline count...
p/n listed is 48-828156A12

Thank you Kenny. I missed that one but no one bid on it and i noticed it was relisted. So i will keep my eye on this one. My manual better be here soon! thanks again

I got one on friday model 48-828156A12 the 10.5 " pitch. Hopefully it will give me a little more on top end. My question is , will it be ok to use my old hardware on the new prop? Or should i buy new stuff? Im hoping the prop i have on now that has a slight warp and wobble hasnt damaged anything too bad...any ideas..

The old hardware should be ok as long as you have some tab-locks left and the nut has some nylon left inside it.
