Guys:
I need some help here. I have a pre alpha drive, 1976 233, and cant find a propeller for it. Michigan Wheel and Merc no longer make props for pre 1982 outdrives. These props are the ones with the rubber hubs.

Does anyone know a place where they sell or make these old props and hubs?

Thanks,
Kris

Although rubber hubbed props are getting to be obsolete, there's nothing Special about a 1979, or a 1982 outdrive.......
They All take the Same Props.......
Same shaft size....
Same pitch Splines.....
You Might have to update your Thrust hub, but all else is the Same.........
A prop off a 2004 Alpha1 gen II, or Bravo I Will fit your outdrive....

Also try here: www.midwestpropeller.com. My favorite prop i sold right here at Iboats. The hustlers made by Turning Point. My drive is a '76 #1R pre-alpha. My thrust washer may be an updated one, but the props I have fit fine.

Re: HELP....Cant find a propeller!

What do you have against the new MerCruiser props? The engine coupler is rubber hubbed. Turned out to be kinda pointless to have a rubber hub at the engine AND the prop. With the new props, you don't have to send it to a prop shop to get it rehubbed. If you have a hammer and a prop wrench, you can do it yourself. Saves time and money. Is there a problem with that???
