I have an 1979 150 v6 mercury with Choke plate carbs on them . The carbs are all different WH numbers so I bought a set of WH-29 carbs with the reed plate and the enricher solenoid set up. Can these carbs go on my old reed plate manifold, or do I have to use the reed plate from the enricher system? I noticed some specialized passageways in the reed plate around the enricher outputs of the carbs and on the block side. How can I get this setup to work?
Thanks

Yes....

should be a straight up bolt on and use new gaskets. You will need enrichener valve also.

The valve came with the carbs (lucky). I was just worried the engine block might be different between the 1979 v-6 (5342369) and the later motor that the reed plates with enricher are from.

Just pulled the carbs off my motor. The intake looks the same where the carbs bolt on. It has a cutout between the barrels and a hole going somewhere. The shape of the intake runner is the same, and it has the same reed setup. The only difference I can see is one extra bolt hole boss that is not used. It looks to my untrained eye that the enricher carbs will work on it.
