Brothers??? who's needs em. I was out with my brother last week and told him several times where to avoid. Well, he picked me up after a pull and we drifted in a shallow area. Before I could warn him, he put the hammer down and we bit some rocks. It's an alumimnum prop, so I know it can be fixed, I'm just wanting to get a second one for this very thing. I have a 2003 4.3 Volvo for my 195sx Glastron. It's a 3 blade now. What prop do I need? Also, is there a better prop out there for me? I pull Skier, wakeboarder and tubes, so that is my primary need.

Thanks
Jeff

You should be able to ID your prop by the numbers usually on the inner hub of the prop that would be a good place to start. It would also help to know your present WOT vs. RPM

My Brother-in-Law does the same thing. In addition, he is very capable of running over the ski bridle. Did you ever see what steel cable does to an aluminum prop?

I just replaced my 14.5 X 17 pitch with a 4-blade 15 X 16 pitch - planes alot smoother - top speed is only 30 loaded at 4800 wot - but i also just like the boatsports - not the speed...
ordered it right here on I-BOATS - good price too.. Bruce

What pitch prop are you using? If your not to concerned about speed try a 17p prop I'm assuming you now have a 19p on.

Jim
