help determining year - 4 hp evinrude

I have a 4 hp evinrude, model # BE4RCUD. Can anyone advise what model year this would be??<br /><br />I checked in my service manual and it talks about OMC going to the "Introduces" code to determine model year in 1980. Using this code makes my motor a '76 model (if I'm doing the code thing properly) , but that would be before they went to using the introduces code.<br /><br />Motor was made in Belgium and has '87 stamped on a couple of places on the engine castings.<br /><br />Need to order parts. the CU in the model number indicates a 1987<br /><br />good luck
