I am looking at buying an older 12’ Crestliner aluminum boat. The plate in it says sportsman model, S/N M10277. I was wondering what year this boat is?
Also it is on a really old Mastercraft trailer with 8” 2 piece wheels with the hub built into them. Any idea where I could find a spare?
Thanks

Typically the last 2 digits of the HIN number represent the year of the hull. Thus I'd guess yours is manufactured in 1977 <maybe>.

Can't help you with the wheels. Good luck.

If it were a 1977, which was my first thought also, it would/should have a 12 character HIN (hull identification number).

The numbers on an old Crestliner mean nothing. The records were lost in a fire a long time ago, so I've heard. So, a picture's worth a thousand words. Try going here, and look at the catalog pictures...

http://www.retrocrestliner.com

Here's one for starters, it's a '56...
