Re: Help discribe this pump housing

It's a worn bronze pump housing for a Mercruiser raw water pump that is belt driven off the front of the engine.
They have gone to a composite housing now. Probaby was replaced and kept as a "Spare" by someone.

Ayuh,... It looks like a well worn back piece of a Bravo raw water pump...

That sure looks exactly like the COMPOSITE housing that I replaced my old composite housing with. I thought the bronze ones actually looked a little goldish in color?

But yep, that's a Bravo pump housing. For a "2 piece" pump. As opposed to the real old "3 piece pump." I believe that's the terminology you'll see in catalogs.
I have some worn wear plates and a slightly worn impeller that would match right up to that! ;)
